About the Owner

Sam Scott, owner of Adroit Design Remodeling, started his own company after years of working for large contractors. He wanted to offer more personalized service for his customers while maintaining high standards of quality. Sam has worked in Frederick; Montgomery and Carroll counties, Maryland; and Northern Virginia. He worked for contractors such as Yingling Construction and Case Design Remodeling. Sam started his career as a carpenter and, through hard work, attained various positions in the construction industry such as site supervisor, project manager, and director of operations. Sam also worked for Axcelis Technologies as a production planner which gave him greater experience with project scheduling.

Sam has over 25 years of experience in the remodeling and building profession serving Maryland and Virginia. He graduated from Walkersville High and went on to earn his Journeyman Carpenter Certification from Associated Builders and Contractors. He has competed in local Builder Olympics Competitions. Sam is LEAD Certified and experienced in all aspects of remodeling including historic, new home, and light commercial.
